Cogne is one of the main municipalities in the Aosta Valley, and the most extensive. It is located in the upper part of the homonymous valley, at the foot of the Gran Paradiso massif that gives its name to the National Park.<\/p>\n
The main town (Veulla) is located in the centre of the municipality, on the edge of a wide expanse of meadows, the famous Prati di Sant’Orso.<\/p>\n
