Despite modernity, it preserves its identity, showing how progress can coexist harmoniously with tradition.\r\nAt the foot of the famous waterfalls, the village tells an ancient story focused on agriculture and herding. The entire Lillaz basin preserves the remains of ancient ovens, irrigation canals, and chapels. The origin of the name \"Lillaz\" comes from \"ila\" or \"lila\", referring to a place near a stream, often subject to erosion and flooding. Traces of ancient terracing and retaining walls for abandoned paths can still be seen on the site. The village chapel, founded in 1606 and rebuilt in 1875, is dedicated to Saint Anne and Saint Clement.\r\nThe old village communal oven, mentioned as early as 1776, worked until the 1980s. The primary school, founded in the 19th century, served the community until the same period previously mentioned. The village also had a dairy and a collective granary, both operating until the First World War. Fountains were built in 1948, and drinking water was only distributed beginning in 1952. For grinding, the community used the mill in the nearby hamlet of Champlong near Melanet, behind the chapel dedicated to Saint Barbara, rebuilt in 1869 and restored between 2010 and 2011. Next to the church, there was a communal oven, which was restored in 2015 but is no longer working. Among the houses of Champlong, a sundial dated 1859 bears witness to the long history of the village."},"titolo-paragrafo-2":{"type":"textfield","raw":""},"testo-paragrafo-2":{"type":"wysiwyg","raw":""},"titolo-paragrafo-3":{"type":"textfield","raw":""},"testo-paragrafo-3":{"type":"wysiwyg","raw":""}},"generalita":{"classificazione":{"type":"select","raw":""},"titolo":{"type":"textfield","raw":""},"sottotitolo":{"type":"textfield","raw":""},"note":{"type":"wysiwyg","raw":""},"marchi":{"type":"image","raw":[""],"repeatable":[{"raw":""}]},"alert":{"type":"wysiwyg","raw":""}}},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.visitcogne.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/guida-virtuale\/12392","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.visitcogne.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/guida-virtuale"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.visitcogne.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/guida-virtuale"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.visitcogne.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/12693"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.visitcogne.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=12392"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"categoria-guide-virtuali","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.visitcogne.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categoria-guide-virtuali?post=12392"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
